The short-and-sweet, yet no less satisfying, teaser that’s been unleashed sees Blake, a husband and father, recount a terrifying animal encounter that triggers a nightmare for him and his family. He remembers being attacked by a mysterious creature that must have been an animal yet he’s sure was standing on two legs. Of course, any fan of classic horror cinema will know what will come of the sickness he’s now suffering from as Blake begins a horrifying transformation from loving family man into something else. This fresh take on the classic Universal Monster comes from visionary writer-director Leigh Whannell, off the back of bringing another classic horror from this world to the screen in The Invisible Man, and stars Christopher Abbott as Blake; Julia Garner as his wife, Charlotte; and Matilda Firth as their young daughter, Ginger. Get ready for a horror to make you howl in cinemas January 17.
