Antiheroes assemble in the new chapter that sees the MCU break bad.
Forget the Avengers, this mission calls for some bad guys. The trailer for what looks to be the MCU’s darkest and most shadowy chapter yet sees Florence Pugh’s Yelena encountering a rogue’s gallery of returning MCU antiheroes and villains while in the midst of her grief for the loss of her adoptive sister, Natasha Romanoff. Joining Pugh from Black Widow are David Harbour’s Red Guardian and Olga Kurylenko’s Taskmaster, as well as Hannah John-Kamen’s Ghost from Ant Man And The Wasp and Wyatt Russell’s John Walker from The Falcon And The Winter Soldier. Speaking of which, Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes is back to join this misfit party, too, though he’s the team member who looks like he’ll need convincing most. Then there’s a new face thrown into the mix in the form of Lewis Pullman’s Robert “Bob” Reynolds aka The Sentry. Whether or not this unlikely band of misfits can find a way to work together will be revealed when Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* comes to cinemas May 2.
