Technology and nature entwine to create a wonderful world in the beautiful trailer for the DreamWorks Animation adaptation of the beloved children’s bestseller.
The trailer for the new film from the acclaimed writer-director of Lil & Stitch, The Croods, and How To Train Your Dragon opens to find a robot – Rozzum, or “Roz” for short – washed ashore on a deserted island, who soon learns its anything but alone. Now on an epic adventure to learn to adapt to these all-new surroundings, the trailer showcases some stunning animation, a heartfelt story, and brings a sneak peek at some of the curious creatures Roz encounters. There’s a fox, an opossum, a goose, an orphan gosling, and more, and all of which are voiced by an exciting line-up of stars. Lupita Nyong’o takes the lead as the voice of Roz, with the stacked support cast including the likes of Pedro Pascal, Bill Nighy, Catherine O’Hara, Kit Connor, Stephanie Hsu, Mark Hamill, Matt Berry, and Ving Rhames.
