The Garfield Movie Trailer
The world's favourite lazy, lasagne-loving feline is discovering his wild side in the first fully-animated Garfield film.
Fittingly landing on the day he famously detests, everyone’s favourite Monday-hating, lasagna-loving feline is pouncing onto the big screen like never before in an all-new animated adventure for all the family. The trailer for the new film from the director of The Emperor’s New Groove and Chicken Little takes us back in time to adorably reveal how a cute and cuddly ginger kitten sees his life as a stray turn upside down when he meets his new owner Jon. It's a touching sequence and serves as a long tease for the first listen to Chris Pratt in the leading role, but with the soppiness soon put aside, the trailer treats us to exactly that as well as a montage of Garfield doing what he does best: being lazy, being sarcastic, and, of course, eating. There's also a rough overview of the film's story as a surprise reunion with his long-lost father, voiced by Samuel L. Jackson, launches the very much an indoors cat on a wild adventure in the great outdoors. The Garfield Movie is due to arrive in cinemas May 24.
