The star-studded action-comedy from the director of the Jumanji films imagines a Christmas tale where Santa is a gruff, buff head of a high-tech operation with his own hulking head of security by his side: Dwayne Johnson’s Callum Drift. But, as the trailer reveals, this Christmas Santa Claus – Code Name: Red One, played by J.K. Simmons – is kidnapped and now the North Pole executives, headed by Lucy Liu’s Zoe, must take desperate measures to track him down. They turn to a naughty bounty hunter, Chris Evans’ Jack O’Malley, who teams up with Drift and has his eyes opened to all the fantastical world. Talking polar bears, slap-fighting Krampus, abominable snowmen, headless horsemen, and all sorts of festive frights await as the unlikely duo embark on a snow-globe-trotting adventure to save Christmas. The search for Santa is on in cinemas November 6.
