Set to pick up after the events of Dead Reckoning, Ethan and his team have survived the catastrophic train crash and continue their pursuit of the dangerous, potentially world-ending AI programme The Entity which they now know is hidden aboard an old Russian submarine. Expectedly full of intense action sequences and yet even more highwire stuntwork, the trailer is a showcase for Cruise and McQuarrie's brand of blockbuster action as they plan of ending the Ethan Hunt saga with a bang. Ving Rhames, Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, and more familiar faces will return to again face Esai Morale's Gabriel, following his fantastically villainous debut in Dead Reckoning, on Ethan's final mission; one that will ask more of him than any other and put the beloved allies he's held dear for so long in the firing line.
