Two legendary sensei team up to bring Mr Miyagi’s teachings to a new generation in the trailer for the new chapter where karate and kung fu come together.
The trailer for the new film that kickstarts an exciting new chapter for the franchise introduces Ben Wang as its young, new hero: talented fighting prodigy Li Fong. His life is turned upside down when he finds himself moved from his family home in Beijing and into the hustle and bustle of New York City. Adjusting to a new life isn’t easy, but he continues to throw himself into his training with his kung fu master, Jackie Chan’s Mr Han. With a karate competition looming and Li not ready, Han turns to the original Karate Kid, Ralph Macchio’s Daniel LaRusso, to help train his student. Each a master of their respective martial arts, the sensei look to pass down their own skills as well as the teachings of the legendary Mr Miyagi to bring their fighting styles together to mould Li into the ultimate martial artist. Karate and kung fu come together in cinemas May 30.
