Iconic shots and sequences from DreamWorks Animation’s acclaimed animated film are brought to new life in the stirring trailer for their live-action retelling of the beloved story that started it all. We see nervous Viking boy Hiccup defy his father by making friends with a Night Fury dragon and, well, the rest is history. The trailer ramps things up to a new level of epic adventure and gives an introduction to our main cast, with Mason Thames a perfect fit for Hiccup, Nico Parker as his loyal friend Astrid, and Gerard Butler reprising his voice role from the animated franchise to star as his overbearing father, Chief Stoick the Vast. Of course, there’s all manner of dragons, too. Each brought to stunning reality through incredible visual effects, namely the adorable Toothless. Hiccup and Toothless take flight on their epic adventure in cinemas June 16.
