Gladiator II Trailer

While the events of Ridley Scott’s historical epic continue to echo through eternity, a new chapter in the story arrives to continue the legend of Ancient Rome. The trailer introduces Pedro Mascal as Lucius, the nephew of Joaquin Phoenix’s Commodus, who many years after witnessing the death of Russell Crowe’s revered hero Maximus now find himself in the Colosseum as slave turned gladiator. There, he meets Denzel Washington’s who hopes to use him as the leader of his rebellion against the tyrannical Emperors who are not fit for the throne. Bestowed with the same sword Maximus once wielded, he sets out to lead the fight as he ventures down a path that will end with an life-or-death battle against General Marcus Acacius, played by Pedro Pascal. Also featured in the trailer are Joseph Quinn and Fred Hechinger as Emperors Geta and Caracalla, with Derek Jacobi and Connie Nielsen completing an incredible ensemble cast. The stage is set for another historical classic of epic proportions, one filled with sieges, scheming, and sensational gladiatorial battles within the walls of the iconic colosseum. The fight for power, rebellion, and vengeance begins when Gladiator II arrives to entertain us on November 15.
