Sonny Hayes retired from Formula One for good reason. A devastating crash in the nineties left him physically and mentally scarred. The sport had taken its toll on him.

And yet, Brad Pitt’s seasoned racer is enticed back into the driving seat by his old friend and team owner, Javier Bardem’s Ruben. He joins the fictional Formula One team APXGP as a driver and mentor to the talented rookie, Joshua “Noah” Pearce, as newcomer Damson Idris joins the esteemed acting veterans.
