Marvel go intergalactic as female heroes collide in the first look at the forthcoming cosmic adventure.
Brie Larson is back in the MCU and teaming up with WandaVision’s Teyonah Parris and Ms Marvel’s Iman Vellani in the full trailer for the Captain Marvel sequel that’s set a significant time after Carol Danvers’ origin story. In fact, The Marvels is set after both Disney+ series that debuted Parris’ Monica Rambeau and Vellani’s Kamala Khan, aka the young, New Jersey superhero and Captain Marvel superfan. The trailer sees Captain Marvel incur the wrath of a new Kree adversary, but her attempts to stop her from destroying every planet she calls home halted when her powers are inexplicably entangled with those of Captain Monica Rambeau, who’s now on a deep space mission with Nick Fury. As so often is the case, strange things like these occur in threes and they both find their powers are linked with Carol’s, too. Now, as the trio of female heroes navigate their newfound transformative powers that sends them spiralling from each other’s locations, they must also prepare for a unique mission that will finally make Ms. Marvel’s dreams come true as she meets her hero and forms the superhero team she’s always dreamed of. Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Monica Rambeau return in Marvel Studios' #TheMarvels, only in cinemas November 10.
