If the first trailer was all about setting up the story and revealing the frankly ridiculous, Ready Player One-level roster of Warner Bros characters taking courtside seats, then this brand-new trailer is focussing on putting the real stars of the show front and centre. We see LeBron James tumble down to Tune World where he meets Bugs, Daffy, Tweety, and the rest of the ragtag tunes before they’re all brought out of their two-dimensional space for another basketball game. Space Jam: A New Legacy promises a live-action/animation event where you’ll see the legendary Looney Tunes like never before as they’re transformed into three-dimensional characters and given a fresh look to bring their slapstick silliness to a new generation. The trailer is lots of fun and also gives us a better look at the elemental opponents, the Goon Squad, and takes the stakes even higher as we discover that if they lose, not only will LeBron’s son be trapped in the ServerVerse, but the Looney Tunes will be deleted forever.
