Everyone’s favourite marmalade sandwich-munching bear is headed back to Peru in your furry first look at his wild new adventure.
Despite the occasional shenanigan and run-in with villainous foes, Paddington has had many happy years in London. The new trailer reveals that now’s the time for a trip to his original family home to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy all the way in Peru. With the Browns in tow, he embarks on a family holiday like no other. On arrival, they discover that Aunt Lucy has herself set off from her retirement home on an adventure of her own deep into the Amazon rainforest. Now, the whole family must follow her footsteps to track her down for a family reunion. The unmistakably gentle voice of Ben Whishaw confirms the actor returns to his leading role as Paddington, where he’s joined by Hugh Bonneville and Emily Mortimer as the heads of the Brown family. A new adventure in a new location means all sorts of new characters and two showcased in the trailer are Antonio Banderas’ adventurous riverboat captain and Olivia Colman’s happy-go-lucky singing nun. Hold onto your hats, Paddington In Peru comes to cinemas November 8.
