Following on from the events of Joker, Joaquin Phoenix reprises his Oscar-winning role as the sadistically depressed clown, Arthur Fleck aka the Joker. Now incarcerated for his heinous act, his great joke continues when he meets the love of his life while locked up in Arkham State Hospital.

Zazie Beetz is also back as Sophie Dumond, the woman Arthur imagines an entire life with, but his attention is now solely focussed on another. Oscar-winner and pop superstar Lady Gaga stars as the latest iteration of Harley Quinn in Todd Phillips’ highly anticipated sequel.

Love at first sight becomes a lust for blood where this perfectly matched toxic relationship plays out as two fractured minds come together to show Gotham what they’re made of. Spectacularly choreographed and costumed musical numbers that honour the classic Hollywood era are a hauntingly humorous backdrop to their increasing inner madness as the ultimate villainous power couple plan to wreak havoc across the unsuspecting city.
