Don't Make A Sound
The city that never sleeps must go silent as the A Quiet Place prequel takes us back to the day the alien invasion began.
Words Hannah Taylor
Revealing the origin story of how the world became A Quiet Place, Day One follows a new set of characters based in New York City as they experience the alien invasion from the start. This spin-off prequel focuses on Sam and Eric as they’re thrown together in this bleak new reality. They’re just two completely opposite strangers who must now think and live like family to survive.
Shifting away from the Abbott family, this new instalment in the franchise finds a new leading star. Lupita Nyong’o is no stranger to horror, having previously starred in Jordan Peele’s sinister psychological horror Us, and must now learn to survive in silence.
The terrifying silence also welcomes Hereditary star Alex Wolff and Stranger Things sensation Joseph Quinn. A Quiet Place alumni Djimon Hounsou also reprises his role to explore the origins of his character known only as the Man On Island, who gives Cillian Murphy’s Emmett and the surviving Abbotts sanctuary only to meet a tragic demise in Part II.
Experience new levels of nerve-shredding, edge-of-your-seat tension in a new story from the day the world went quiet that intensifies and connects to everything we’ve seen so far. The alien creatures that hunt by sound are coming.
Days Gone By
A Quiet Place
A Quiet Place introduces us to the Abbott family, who navigate a new world filled with silence. John Krasinski’s Lee, Emily Blunt’s Evelyn, Millicent Simmonds’ Regan, and Noah Jupe’s Marcus quietly work together and use sign language to communicate, all because they’re living in constant fear of blind, noise-sensitive creatures that hunt anything that makes a sound.
A Quiet Place Part II
After Lee’s sacrifice and Regan’s discovery of a way to keep the creatures at bay by playing high-frequency audio, the surviving Abbotts go in search of other survivors. They soon learn, however, that the alien creatures aren’t the only threats lurking in the world outside of their home.
